Level 2 charging sized right for your car and your electrical system.
A Level 2 charger turns overnight into a full battery for most drivers. The installation is where people get burned: oversized circuits that force an unnecessary upgrade, undersized wire that runs hot, or chargers mounted where the cable won’t reach. We do it properly the first time.

What we install
- Hardwired Level 2 wall chargers (UL-listed units). You can buy your own or we can recommend one.
- NEMA 14-50 receptacles for plug-in chargers, with the GFCI protection the code now requires
- Load-managed chargers and SPAN Drive / SPAN panel setups that charge on whatever capacity your home has to spare
- Commercial and multifamily charging for workplaces, retail and condo garages
Our process
- Quick assessment. Panel photos or a site visit, your vehicle, where you park, and how far you drive.
- Load calculation. We check whether your existing service can carry the charger. Many homes can. Some need a panel or service upgrade, and we’ll tell you which.
- Quote and permit. A written price, then we pull the permit.
- Install. A dedicated circuit, the right wire size, a clean conduit run, and the charger mounted where the cable actually reaches.
- Inspection and setup. We pass inspection, help you connect the charger’s app, and set the amperage correctly.
Condos, townhomes and garages
For condos, we coordinate with your association on routing, metering and approvals. Detached garages and carports often need a feeder or trenching. We’ll quote it up front.
Business and fleet charging
Offices, retail centers, apartment complexes and fleets: we assess service capacity, recommend charger counts and power levels, and handle permitting. Commercial service →
FAQ
Do I need to upgrade my panel to install an EV charger? Not necessarily. Many homes can add a 40-amp or 48-amp charger after a load calculation, or use a load-managed charger. If your panel is full, very old, or on 100-amp service with heavy loads, an upgrade may make sense. We’ll show you the numbers.
How long does installation take? A typical garage install with the panel nearby is usually done in a few hours. Long runs, detached garages or upgrades take longer.
Is there still a federal tax credit for home EV chargers? The federal 30C credit for home charging equipment only applies to property placed in service by June 30, 2026, so new installs no longer qualify. Check with your tax advisor about anything else that may apply.
Do I need a permit? Yes. A new 240-volt circuit for a charger needs an electrical permit in Pinellas and the surrounding counties. We handle it.
Can you install a charger I bought online? Yes, as long as it’s UL-listed (or listed by another recognized testing lab). We’ll confirm it suits your car and your electrical service before installing.
