Who issues permits where you live?
In Pinellas County, permits come from your city’s building department, or from Pinellas County Building & Development Review Services if you’re in unincorporated Pinellas, Belleair Beach, Belleair Shore, Indian Rocks Beach, Kenneth City, Oldsmar or Safety Harbor. Belleair Bluffs moved to SAFEbuilt on Aug. 15, 2025. Redington Beach permits go through the Redington Shores building department. In Tampa it’s the City of Tampa Construction Services Division, and in unincorporated Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee it’s the county. Whichever it is, we pull the permit for you.
Which utility serves you?
Most of Pinellas County is served by Duke Energy Florida. TECO (Tampa Electric) serves Hillsborough County and parts of Pasco and northeast Pinellas, including Oldsmar. Service upgrades need a utility disconnect and reconnect, and we coordinate it with whichever utility serves your address.

Do you serve unincorporated areas like Bardmoor, Lealman or Palm Harbor? Yes. Many of our customers have a “Seminole” or “St. Petersburg” mailing address but live in unincorporated Pinellas County. Permits there go through Pinellas County, and we handle them.
Do you serve Seminole County near Orlando? No. We serve the City of Seminole in Pinellas County and the surrounding Tampa Bay area. Seminole County (Sanford, Oviedo, Lake Mary) is outside our service area.
Do you serve Anna Maria Island and Bradenton? Yes. Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Bradenton, Palmetto, Longboat Key, Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch are all in our service area. They’re across the Sunshine Skyway from us, so scheduling ahead for non-emergency work helps.
