Troubleshooting and repairs
Not every problem is an emergency. We also track down the everyday issues: dead outlets, circuits that stopped working, flickering lights, GFCIs that won’t reset, and nuisance tripping. We find the cause, explain it, and price the fix before we do it.
After storms
Saltwater-flooded panels, outlets and meter equipment usually need replacement, not just drying. Your utility may require an inspection before restoring power. We can assess the damage and pull the permits for repairs.
FAQ
Do you charge more for nights and weekends? Yes. After-hours calls are billed at our after-hours rate, and we’ll tell you the price before we start. Member Care Plan members get 7% off after-hours labor.
Is a power outage an emergency? If your whole neighborhood is out, it’s a utility outage, so report it to Duke Energy or TECO. If it’s just your home or part of it, call us.
Do Member Care Plan trip credits work at night? No. Trip credits are for business-hours calls. We still answer 24/7, and members’ after-hours calls are billed at our after-hours rate, less 7%. Plans →
