Keystone is an unincorporated stretch of northwest Hillsborough with 25,858 residents and an ACS median build year of 1999. Some addresses read “Odessa,” including the county’s Keystone Park on Gunn Highway. On the park’s north side, the Austin Davis Public Library opened in May 1993 and still keeps the Keystone Civic Association’s community records. Our shop at 6248 Seminole Blvd is about 23.4 miles away in a straight line.

Bigger lots, more options
Where there’s room between house and property line, a standby generator can be set back from windows and doors and fed from a propane tank or natural gas. If your well pump, pool equipment or a detached shop need power in an outage, tell us; they change the size calculation.
Keeping it simple
Not everyone wants a permanent unit. A properly listed inlet and breaker interlock let a portable generator carry the essentials, and the setup is a simpler install.
Panel check first
Houses from the late 1990s may have panels with spare spaces for an interlock or transfer switch, though it depends on the house. We look before we recommend.
Permits come from Hillsborough County, and we handle the application. If the work is part of major storm repairs, the county’s substantial-damage worksheet goes in with it.
