Our electricians on a service change
In a town whose median home dates to 1964, an original service can predate today’s appliance list. We open the meter base and main, check the condition of the entrance cable and grounding, and tell you what we find.
What gets installed
When more capacity is warranted, the new service includes a fresh meter can, larger feed conductors, a higher-rated main breaker, code-current grounding and a panel with spare spaces.
Numbers, permit, power
A load calculation drives the size. Kenneth City or the county will confirm the permit and inspection steps for your house. We arrange the temporary disconnect with your power company.
Surge suppression for the whole house is standard on Kenneth City upgrades. Kenneth City jobs are backed by a woman-owned contractor (EC13014717): labor warranty 2 years, 5 for Member Care households.
