Homes from the 1970s
Elfers’ median year built is 1975 or earlier, by 2020–2024 ACS figures. A panel that age may be in fine shape, or it may have corrosion, loose lugs, or a brand that’s hard to find parts for. Because a generator hookup goes through that panel, we inspect it first and explain what, if anything, needs to change.
Options
Portable connection: a weatherproof inlet outside and an interlock inside, so you can run chosen circuits from a portable unit.
Standby: a permanent generator with automatic switching, sized to the essentials or the whole home.
We pull the permit. Local rules in Elfers: confirm them with Pasco County. For hurricane prep, download the Pasco 2026 Disaster Guide.
State-licensed under EC13014717 and woman-owned, we warrant Elfers labor 2 years, or 5 with Member Care.
