What changes in a service upgrade
A service upgrade raises the amperage your home can draw from the street. Expect new hardware at the meter, heavier feed wires into the house, a bigger main switch, an updated ground connection, and breakers to suit.
Do you need one?
We work out a load calculation on what the house already uses plus what you want to add, say a vehicle charger, pool pump or heat pump. When the present service already has headroom, you hear that from us.
Permit and power company
An electrical permit and closing inspection go with this work. Because rules change, check with Pinellas County on what your lot needs. Our office books the shutoff and restore date with the power provider.
Bay Pines jobs leave with a suppressor guarding the entire house against surges. Ownership is female, KWLE’s license number is EC13014717, and crew labor is backed 2 years (5 when you join Member Care).
