Blue and white house lights for all eight nights, installed once by licensed electricians in Pinellas and Tampa Bay
Photo tips for your free Hanukkah lighting preview
- Stand across the street and take the photo in daylight, with the whole front of the house in the frame.
- Hold the phone level so the eave line runs straight across the picture.
- Include the garage and any gable peaks; those are where the outline reads best.
- If you plan a lighted menorah in a window or the yard, keep that spot in the shot.
Then upload it below, or use our free design preview page, and you get back an image of your own house traced in blue and white.
Permanent Hanukkah lights that stay ready
Hanukkah lights installation the usual way means strings, clips and a ladder every December. Keywest Lights & Electric (KWLE) does it once. We mount a slim JellyFish track under your eaves and up the gable rakes, seat the LED lights in it, and connect a controller in the garage. From then on, blue and white house lights are a tap away for Hanukkah, and the same lights handle every other holiday you mark.
KWLE is an Authorized Dealer of JellyFish Lighting and a woman-owned business, licensed as Florida electrical contractor EC13014717, working from 6248 Seminole Blvd across Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco.
Scenes our customers save for Hanukkah 2026
Hanukkah 2026 runs from sundown on Friday, December 4, to nightfall on Saturday, December 12. Here are looks we can program for those eight nights:
- Night-by-night outline: eight saved scenes, each adding another stretch of light, so the house fills in as the candles do.
- Classic blue and white: deep blue with a white light every third or fourth position.
- Shabbat white: a calm silver-white for Friday evening, December 4, and again on December 11.
- Slow shimmer: blue fading into white and back, gentle enough for close neighbors.
Every scene goes on the app calendar with sunset timing, so it starts at dusk without anyone flipping a switch.
Menorah and holiday lighting together
A lit menorah in the front window or the yard is the center of the display. The eave outline frames it. If the menorah needs power where you don’t have it, our electricians add a weather-rated outdoor outlet, pulling a permit when one is required. For interfaith homes, Christmas scenes sit in the same app, so one system covers both holidays.
How the project runs
- Free design preview from your photo.
- Measuring visit: eave runs, gable rakes, trim color, controller spot and the garage outlet test.

If you want the menorah nights glowing in blue and white, sign early: JellyFish ships about 4 days after the proposal is signed.
Questions about permanent Hanukkah lights
When is Hanukkah in 2026?
Hanukkah 2026 begins at sundown on Friday, December 4, and ends at nightfall on Saturday, December 12. The first candle is lit on December 4 and the eighth on December 11. We load your scenes on those dates in the app’s calendar.
Can permanent lights show blue and white for Hanukkah?
Yes. Each JellyFish light can be set to any color and brightness, so a blue-and-white scene is one of the first looks we save for Jewish families. Popular choices are a steady royal blue with white every few lights, a slow blue-to-white fade, and a soft silver-white for Shabbat evenings.
Can the lights count the eight nights?
They can. We save eight scenes, each one lighting a little more of the eave line, and put one on each night of the holiday in the app calendar. On the eighth night the full outline glows.
Do you install a menorah?
We don’t sell menorahs. If you want a lighted menorah in the yard or a window, our licensed electricians can add a weather-rated exterior outlet near it, with a permit when one is required, and the eave lights can be scheduled to come on with it.
Where do the lights go on my house?
Only beneath the eaves and up the gable rakes. Shingles, tile and metal roofing get no fasteners at all, and because the track is painted to match your trim, daylight hides it well.
What about the rest of the year?
Any scene you save plays on the same lights: Christmas colors in an interfaith home, red, white and blue on the Fourth, a soft warm-white outline on ordinary evenings, and a stronger white over the driveway for security.
What warranties come with it?
Lights, track and controller fall under JellyFish’s 5-year parts warranty. Our workmanship warranty is 2 years, or 5 with Member Care.
How do I get a design for my home?
Use the form on this page to send a daylight shot of your home’s front. Back comes a free design preview with the blue-and-white outline drawn on your eaves, and after that we book a measuring visit.
